Samoan Plant Life: Do you know this herb?

Kicking off a new Notebook:Samoa series called our Quiz Posts. How well do you know Samoa? Its landmarks, plant life, villages, buildings even…? Let’s find out.


This plant is used a lot in Asian cooking. It makes a lovely tea that is supposed to be great for diabetics. A lot of people say it deters mosquitoes, too, but looking at all my mosquito-bite po’u… I don’t know if I believe that 100%.
